Academic Experience

Dartmouth College

  • Professor of Management in the Amos Tuck School. 
  • Faculty Director, Programs for Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprises.
  • Designed and taught “Organizational Behavior,” an introductory course required of all first-year MBA students.
  • MBA electives taught include “Managerial Negotiations,” “Managing Strategic Business Relationships,” “Managing Conflict,” “Executive Power and Negotiation,” “Interpersonal Behavior,” “The Tuck Orientation Program,” and “Human Resources Management.”
  • Taught in Tuck School and externally organized executive programs.
  • Designed and organized MBA and Business Bridge programs for Brazil.

(1977-1978).
  • Management Consultant. Clients primarily included government and health care organizations. (1973-1974).
  • Executive Vice President and Director of small corporation involved in importing, wholesaling, special design, and manufacture of automobiles. Distributed Lotus vehicles. (1969-1971).
  • Assistant Manager/Acting Manager of Purchasing for the Fuller Brush Company, East Hartford, CT. (Division of Consolidated Foods, later to become Sara Lee Corporation) Negotiated large purchase orders for multinational business (1967-1969).
