Tami Kim is an Associate Professor of Business Administration at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. Her primary stream of research sits at the intersection of marketing, public policy, and law, with a focus on how user experiences can inform platform governance and design. Her work has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing Research, and Management Science, and she has written for outlets such as Harvard Business Review, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
Prior to joining Tuck, Kim was an Assistant Professor at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, where she taught both the MBA core marketing course and an elective on digital marketing. She has been recognized multiple times for her teaching in MBA programs, including being named to Poets & Quants’ “40 Under 40” list of top business school professors.
Kim earned her A.B. in Government from Harvard College and her Doctorate in Business Administration from Harvard Business School, where she received the Wyss Award for Excellence in Doctoral Research and the HBS Dean’s Award.
