Executive Education

Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth designs and delivers learning initiatives that transform individuals and organizations; help executives improve their performance as leaders so they deliver stronger results; and better equip them to drive growth, innovation, and change for their organizations.

Sydney Finkelstein is the Faculty Director of the Tuck Executive Program. He teaches in the following Executive Education offerings:

Tuck Executive Program (TEP) immerses senior managers in a broad, strategic general management experience with an unequalled emphasis on personal leadership transformation. A three-week program offered every summer at the Tuck School. Click here to view a video and learn why Sydney considers TEP his “pride and joy.”

Leadership and Strategic Impact (LSI) improves managers’ strategic capability, while at the same time broadening individual leadership skills. LSI is all about the intersection of how to think, communicate and lead strategically to further organizational objectives.  A one-week program offered twice a year.

Strategic Financial Leadership Program (SFLP) provides the tools to link strategy, leadership, and financial decision-making. SFLP is designed specifically for senior financial executives and their high potential staff who are increasingly involved in developing, communicating and leading strategy. A one-week program offered once a year (in the spring).

Transition to Business Leadership is a multi-module program that is offered in collaboration with IMD business school in Switzerland. It’s a personalized leadership journey that helps functional managers transition into general management roles, as they take on significantly more leadership responsibilities. Offered with the first 2-week module at IMD and the second 2-week module at Tuck, for which Sydney serves as faculty director.

Directors’ Consortium provides board members with leading-edge strategies, frameworks, and best practices for making crucial board decisions in a changing environment. A three-day program offered twice a year (rotating between the consortium of schools: Tuck School of Business, Stanford Graduate School of Business, Stanford Law School, and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business).
