J. BRIAN QUINN PROFESSOR IN TECHNOLOGY AND STRATEGY
Constance Helfat’s research seeks to understand the nature of strategic change in organizations, particularly change that is a result of emerging technology, knowledge, and capabilities. She teaches the elective courses Deconstructing Apple, a research-to-practice seminar, and Strategic Principles for Internet Businesses.
Professor Helfat was honored for her influential research on “business and corporate strategy, especially firm capabilities and adaptation to change, with application to innovation, top management, and vertical integration.” Read more
The FIVES Project aims to accelerate and broaden the reach of research on strategy, entrepreneurship, and firm and industry evolution. Data sets contributed to the FIVES Project are freely available, along with documentation. We welcome new contributions from scholars in these areas who wish to make their data more widely available.
